TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR EVENT HOSTS

Welcome to D2CTix.com, the first dedicated Edutainment Ticketing Marketplace, operated by Dream2Career, LLC (doing business as D2CTickets.com).

By registering as an Event Host ("Host") or listing an edutainment event on the D2CTix.com platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Host account, submitting an event listing, or utilizing any ticketing services provided by D2CTickets.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you are not authorized to use the platform as an event creator or host.

2. Eligibility & Account Security

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to host events on D2CTix.com.

  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details updated.

  • Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • Termination Right: Dream2Career, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, engage in abusive behavior, or violate these Terms.

3. Event Listings & Host Responsibilities

  • Edutainment Focus: D2CTix.com is a specialized marketplace for "edutainment" (educational entertainment). Hosts agree that their listings must align with this category.

  • Content Accuracy: Hosts are entirely responsible for the accuracy of their event descriptions, dates, times, pricing, and venue/streaming information.

  • Compliance with Laws: Hosts must ensure their events comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including safety regulations, licensing requirements, and intellectual property laws.

4. Marketplace Fees & Offsite Advertising

  • Standard Platform Fees: D2CTickets.com charges fees to cover platform maintenance, marketplace infrastructure, and standard payment processing.

  • Offsite Advertising Program: To maximize your ticket sales, D2CTickets.com automatically runs offsite advertising campaigns across external networks (such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, and specialized advertising partners pertaining to the travel industry).

  • Fee Structure Visibility: To ensure flexibility and transparency, all specific percentages, flat rates, and fee structures for standard sales, payment processing, and offsite ad conversions are maintained on our dedicated Host Fees & Payouts Page. By listing an event, you agree to the fee schedule active at the time of the transaction.

  • Fee Deductions: All applicable fees will be automatically deducted from your gross ticket sales prior to your final payout.

5. Ticket Sales, Payments, & Refunds

  • Payout Processing: Ticket revenue payouts will be processed and distributed to the Host according to the schedule outlined on the Fees & Payouts Page, generally trailing the successful completion of the event.

  • Fraud Prevention: D2CTickets.com reserves the right to withhold payouts in cases of suspected fraudulent activity, high chargeback rates, or clear violations of these Terms.

  • Refund Policies: Hosts must clearly state their refund policy on the event listing page and a full refund must be granted to customers if it is your decision to cancel the event within 2 weeks of the event. D2CTickets.com reserves the right to issue refunds directly to buyers at its discretion if an event is canceled, materially rescheduled, or misrepresented.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Platform Materials: All content, tools, design elements, and technology provided on D2CTix.com are owned by Dream2Career, LLC or its partners and are protected by intellectual property laws.

  • Host Materials: By uploading images, logos, and descriptions for your event, you grant D2CTickets.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute those materials to promote your event and the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • "As-Is" Service: D2CTickets.com provides its ticketing platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

  • No Guarantee of Sales: Dream2Career, LLC does not guarantee event attendance, minimum ticket sales, or specific revenue outcomes from organic traffic or offsite advertising.

  • Indemnification: Hosts agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dream2Career, LLC, its officers, and employees against any claims, losses, or legal damages arising from the Host's event execution, content, or cancellation.

8. Changes to Terms

Dream2Career, LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted directly on the platform with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your explicit acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dream2Career, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
