Discover the science and soul of urban agriculture at this deeply hands-on workshop.  Participants learn to cultivate heirloom seeds, build a nutrient-dense container garden, and cook a farm-to-table meal using produce grown in Chicago's community plots. A local urban agronomist walks you through soil composition, companion planting strategies, and the economic case for neighborhood food sovereignty. You'll leave with a curated seed packet collection, a planted starter kit, and a personal growing guide. This experience is designed for travelers and locals who want to understand where food really comes from and brings a slice of sustainable living home. Perfect for foodies, sustainability enthusiasts, and curious explorers who believe the most radical act is growing your own food. Space is limited to 14 guests per session. You will recieve an email with the confirmed location 7 days prior to the event. All information subject to change. Chicago urban farming workshop, seed-to-table experience, edutainment Chicago West Side, sustainable food systems class, indoor gardening luxury experience
